Based on John Carpenter's 1982 remake of the 1951 sci-fi/horror classic, The Thing. Since the alien creature had no real form (it took the shape of whatever creature it consumed), McFarlane Toys created two separate figures, packaged individually. The second is the Norris monster that bursts from a dead character's chest and is summarily burned to a crisp in the movie. This figure is packaged with a multi-legged, disembodied head creature from the movie.

The main figure is 6 inches tall with nine articulation points and a base. The Spiderhead is 2 3/8 inches tall with six articulated legs.
